Sid practiced corporate and commercial law in Saskatchewan prior to moving to Calgary in 1992 to assume a role as CEO of a publicly traded company. Prior to moving to Alberta, Sid served a term as Saskatchewan’s Attorney General. He was the Chairman of the Saskatchewan Mining Development Corporation (now Cameco Corporation).
Since locating in Calgary, Sid has provided management services primarily to public companies including serving as senior executive officer and director for companies on both the senior and junior exchanges in Canada and the United Sates. He also structured public companies and organized financings. He has functioned as shareholder, founder, and organizer for private and public startup ventures.
Sid has served as a consultant, senior executive, and director of several corporations in various business sectors such as technology, oil and gas services, mineral exploration and development, and entertainment.
Sid holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is recognized with the honorary Queen’s Counsel designation for his impressive contributions to the legal profession and public service.
