Mr. Wilson has a 35-year career in executive management, investmentmanagement and corporate finance. Throughout his career, he has held seniorpositions in investment banking and venture capital including First MarathonSecurities, BMO Nesbitt Burns, Mackie Research Capital, Yorkton Securities and WorkingVentures Canada Fund.
Mr. Wilson has also served as CFO, senior executive anddirector of a number of publicly listed companies in technology, foodprocessing, manufacturing, cannabis and financial services where he wasresponsible for financial reporting, corporate finance, investor relations, governance,regulatory compliance, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions. In 2014, Mr. Wilson founded TemperanceCapital Income Fund, a royalty debt fund which was sold to a private equityfirm in 2019. More recently, between 2019and 2023 Mr. Wilson was the CFO and led the restructuring of a US cannabisbusiness and subsequently was CFO of a European securities dealer where he wasinstrumental is the reorganization and sale of the business in 2024.
