Jennifer Lucas is an accomplished financial analyst experienced in the preparation of business plans, investor presentations, financial projections, valuations, goodwill impairment analysis, due diligence reports and pricing analyses for private and public companies. She has also been involved with merger and acquisition transactions.
As the Managing Partner of Evans & Evans, Jen has been involved in hundreds of the firm’s projects over the past few years. Since joining the firm’s Vancouver office in 1997, Jen has worked with a broad spectrum of companies from software and technology, telecommunications, natural resources, entertainment, personal security and a variety of industrial projects. Jen is also very experienced in the areas of goodwill impairment testing and purchase price allocation.
Prior to joining Evans & Evans, Jen worked as an analyst in both the public and private sector in British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Her background includes working for the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions of British Columbia as a Financial Analyst.
A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Jen holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of British Columbia, and has the professional designations of Chartered Business Valuator and Accredited Senior Appraiser. She is a member of the Chartered Business Valuators Institute and the American Society of Appraisers.
