Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate, Dean has over 25 years of consulting expertise. Dean brings comprehensive skills and experience in researching, strategizing, formulating, and implementing business and corporate level initiatives.

Dean has successfully advised over 200 privately-held companies and dozens of TSX-V corporations across Canada. He has conducted and participated in a number of complex research, valuation, planning, structuring, financings, transactions, and other business assignments. As well, he has capably created and implemented a variety of disclosure documents and professional campaigns to source, negotiate and close financings, joint ventures, strategic transactions, and other corporate-level strategic initiatives. In serving clients over the years he has completed numerous feasibility studies, business plans, due diligence reports, business pricing analyses, and particularly financings, mergers, acquisitions and other transactions.

In the past, Dean has managed consulting services for a mid-market mergers and acquisitions firm, and before that , he managed the Calgary regional office of Evans & Evans, Inc. Prior to this position, he was an independent management consultant, servicing clients in Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. At the start of his professional career, he managed a regional office in Ottawa, Ontario for an international engineering and environmental firm.

Dean obtained his Bachelor of Science (Honors, 1986) from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Calgary (1997).
