Gerald is presently the Founding Managing Partner of Equinox Energy Partners Corporation. Equinox provides public and private equity advisory services, financial structuring, fund management, and strategic development advice to companies engaged in the “new power economy“. He has served as the President of Investment Banking for DGM Bank & Trust Inc. a prominent offshore bank located in Barbados; was the Founding Partner, President & CEO of Han Wind Energy Corporation, a leading wind farm development company in Inner Mongolia and is currently a strategic advisor to JUCCCE “Joint US-China Co-orperation On Clean Energy“, www.juccce.com a global NGO and a Managing Partner of Amira Pacific Royale Developmentsa partnership developing sustainable real estate and renewable energy throughout six islands in the South Pacific.
For the past 9 years, Gerald focused on developing an in-depth knowledge and an investment banking skill-set in the alternative and renewable energy sectors. He has advised a number of international clients in Australia, Chile, Nicaragua, China, Turkey, Greece, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean with a specific focus on wind development in emerging markets.
Gerald is dedicated to advancing the interests of alternative energy companies in the post-Kyoto era. He is a strong advocate in the importance of proactive carbon liability mitigation as integral parts of corporate governance programs. Prior to joining DGM Bank & Trust Inc. and forming Equinox Energy Partners Corp., Gerald was the President and CEO of Kingsdale Alternative Energy Partners, Inc., a partner at Osprey Capital, Inc. and Argosy Partners, Inc. — divisions of mid-sized investment banking firms in Toronto.
